How do I send an Instant Message (IM)?

When browsing a member’s profile you will find ‘Instant Message’ located in the ‘Make Contact’ section under their photo.  Simply click ‘Instant Message’ and a pop-up IM screen will appear, type the message you wish to send, select a smiley if desired and then click ‘Send Message’.

Why can’t I send an Instant Message (IM)?

In order to use the Instant Messaging service you will need to be a registered paying member.

If you have amended your profile you will need to wait for it to be approved before being able to utilise the Instant Messaging service.

How do I logon?

Click on the ‘Sign In’ button located at the top of the screen and you will be presented with the sign-in page where you will be asked for you username and password; once you have entered this information you can either click on the ‘Sign In’ button or press ENTER on your keyboard.

How do I read my mail?

Select ‘Mailbox’ from the menu option located at the top of the screen. You will then see a list of mail in your mailbox, now click on the subject of the mail you wish to read.

How do I reply to a mail that has been sent to me?

Once you have opened a message you wish to reply to simply click ‘Reply to Message’.  You can now enter your message as required. Once you have written your message click on ‘Send Message’

How do I send mail to another member?

Once you have found the member you wish to mail simply enter their profile and click on ‘Send Message’ located in the ‘Make Contact’ section under their photo.  Enter a subject and the message you wish to send then click ‘Send Message’.

What is ‘Send a Kiss’?

You can send a virtual kiss to any other member. You will see the option to ‘Send a Kiss’ located in the ‘Make Contact’ section in a member’s profile.  By clicking on this an email is automatically sent to that member stating that you have sent them a kiss. In addition to this, a link to your profile is added to the email.

Why can’t I send mail to another user?

There are 2 instances when you will not be able to send mail to other users, these are:

®     You only have standard membership and need to upgrade to premier membership by subscribing to fetish-mate.com. You can do this by following the 'Subscribe' link in the members area.

®     The member you are trying to mail has blocked you.

How can I see who is online?

Once you have logged in you can simply select the ‘Who’s online’ link located at the top of the page.  You will then be taken to the ‘Who’s Online’ page where you be able to see online user details such as Age, Sex and Location.  From here you can simply click on a user you want to browse, mail or Instant Message

How can I search who is online?

Once you have opened the ‘Who’s online’ page you can simply select the criteria you are looking for including gender, language spoken, country and age range.  Once you have completed the criteria click on ‘Show’ and you will be taken to the list of online members who match your criteria.

How can I find a member by their ID or Profile Name?

Select ‘Members Area’ from the menu shown at the top of the screen, now select ‘Search’ from the options menu.  Enter the Member ID or Profile Name (part of the profile will suffice) as required and click ‘Search’.  You will now be shown your search results.

How can I perform a quick search for members?

Once you have logged in you will notice the ‘Quick Search’ located on the right hand side of the page.  From here you can simply make your selections as required. I.e. you are a ‘Male’ seeking a ‘Female’ between ages ‘34’ and ’40’.  Once you have made your selection simply click on the ‘Search’ button.  You will then be taken to the Search Results page that will show members who meet your search criteria.

From here you can simply click on a user you want to browse, mail or Instant Message.

How can I perform an Easy Search for members?

Select ‘Members Area’ from the menu shown at the top of the screen, now select ‘Search’ from the options menu.  From here scroll down to the ‘Quick Search’ section and complete as much of the information as required then click ‘Search’ to see a list of members who fit your criteria.

How can I find members in my area?

Simply click on ‘Members Area’ located in the top left of the screen; you will then be taken to the ‘Member Homepage’.  From here click on ‘Browse’ (located on the left hand side of the screen) and you will be taken to the ‘Browse Profiles’ page.

From here select the sex and age range you are looking for, then select the country, then the county/state, then the town.  You will then be taken to the ‘Browse Profiles’ page where members who meet your country/area criteria are listed. From here you can simply click on a member you want to browse, mail or Instant Message.

How do I perform a detailed search?

Select ‘Members Area’ from the menu shown at the top of the screen, now select ‘Search’ from the options menu.  From here scroll down to the ‘Advanced Search’ section and complete as much of the information as required then click ‘Search’ to see a list of members who fit your criteria.

How do I update my profile?

Once you have logged in click on ‘My Profile’ located in the top left of the screen, you will then be taken to the ‘My Profile’ page.  You can now select ‘Modify Profile’ from here and you will then be able to amend your profile as required and submit it for approval.

(You will have restricted access until your profile has been approved)

Can I exclude myself from the ‘Who’s Online’ listing?

Yes. Select ‘Members Area’ from the menu shown at the top of the screen.  Now select ‘My Privacy’ from the list of options shown.  Now click in the ‘Hide me on Who's Online’ box and click on ‘Submit’

Can I block all members from sending me an Instant Message?

Yes.  Select ‘Members Area’ from the menu shown at the top of the screen.  Now select ‘My Privacy’ from the list of options shown.  Now click in the ‘Block all members from Instant Messaging me’ box and click on ‘Submit’

How do I add a member to my favourites list?

When you browse a member’s profile page you can add that member to your favourites list by selecting ‘Add to Favourites’ located in the ‘Make Contact’ area shown under the member’s picture.

How do I view my favourites list?

From the menu shown at the top of the screen select ‘Favourites’ you will then be taken to a list of members you have added to your favourites list.

How do I remove members from my favourites list?

From the menu shown at the top of the screen select ‘Favourites’ you will then be taken to a list of members you have added to your favourites list.  You can now select ‘Delete’ next to the member you wish to remove from your favourites list.

Can you notify me when new members join?

Yes.  Simply click on ‘Matchfinder’ and you will be taken to the ‘Matchfinder’ criteria and activation screen.  Enter the criteria as required and then select ‘Enable Matchfinder’.  You will now receive emails notifying you of new members that have joined who match your criteria.

How do I block a member?

If you are sent an IM (Instant Message) and you wish to block the member who has sent you the IM you can click the ‘Block user’ link in the bottom left corner of the chat window.

If you receive a mail by another member you are given the option to block them when you read the mail.

How can I see who I have blocked?

Select ‘Blocked Users’ located near the top of the page, you will then be shown a list of members that you have chosen to block.

How can I unblock a member?

Select ‘Blocked Users’ located near the top of the page, you will then be shown a list of members that you have chosen to block. From here you can select ‘Delete’ for the member you wish to remove from your blocked list.  The member you remove from your blocked list will then be able to send you mail and IMs.

How do I subscribe to fetish-mate?

In the members area, select ‘Subscribe’ from the menu located either at the top of the screen, or to the left. You will then be taken to the Billing page.  From here select continue, check the details shown on screen and then select ‘Yes’. You will now be taken to the secure payment page to complete your details and submit your payment.  Once the payment is received your account will be upgraded to premier membership.

How much does it cost to subscribe?

What services can I use as a standard member?

You can access all articles, send virtual kisses to other members, receive emails from other members and get fetish matches delivered to your inbox. You will not be able to contact other members via email or our Instant Messenger Service.
